• Farm data: GPS coordinates, deployment dates, shell height measurements, mortality counts, water quality observations, harvest records
• Usage data: Page views, feature usage (anonymized)
• Cookies: Session cookies for authentication only

How We Use It

• Provide growth predictions and harvest recommendations for your specific locations
• Send alert emails you've opted into (anomaly detection, harvest windows)
• Improve our models and service (using anonymized, aggregated data only)

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your individual farm data
• We do not share your GPS coordinates or farm locations with other users
• We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics

Farm Location Data

We understand farm locations are commercially sensitive. Your coordinates are used solely to fetch satellite data for your predictions and are not visible to other users.

Data Retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active
• Farm/observation data: retained until you delete it or request account deletion
• Anonymized aggregates: may be retained indefinitely for research

Your Rights

• Export: Download all your data as CSV at any time
• Delete: Request full account and data deletion via email
• Correct: Edit or delete any observation or farm data in the dashboard

Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All connections use HTTPS. Database access is restricted. We follow industry-standard security practices.
