1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using OysterCast, you agree to these terms and our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description

OysterCast is a web-based decision-support platform for oyster aquaculture. It provides satellite-derived environmental data, growth forecasting via Dynamic Energy Budget models, harvest window optimization, and data logging tools.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One account per person. Do not share credentials.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your Data

• You retain ownership of all farm data, observations, and measurements you enter.
• You grant OysterCast a license to use your data to provide and improve the service.
• We will not sell your individual farm data to third parties.
• We may use anonymized, aggregated data for research and product improvement.
• You can export your data at any time via the CSV export feature.
• You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

5. Acceptable Use

Do not:

• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use automated tools to scrape the service
• Redistribute satellite data obtained through OysterCast
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

6. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Satellite data depends on third-party providers (NOAA, NASA) and may be delayed or unavailable.

7. Limitation of Liability

See our Disclaimer for full details. OysterCast is provided as-is. We are not liable for decisions made based on our forecasts.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
